Our friends over at The Early Childhood Technology Collaborative (ECTC), a group of three very insightful early childhood technologists, have a new survey that we want to encourage our ECE customers and friends to fill out. This is the first survey “in a series of very topical, focused questionnaires.”
The reason you should fill it out is because they’re going to share the results with you through reports and whitepapers which will be just the sort of information programs need to remain productive with technology and become outstanding in their communities.
From the survey website:
We’ve launched this project to describe more fully how technology is being used in early childhood settings and how educators feel about it… and we want you to tell us how you do this and what’s on your mind!
By the way, this is a great follow up to the recently released NAEYC and Fred Rogers Center Technology Position Statement: Technology and Interactive Media as Tools in Early Childhood Programs Serving Children from Birth through Age 8. If you’re an early childhood professional and haven’t read this I suggest you print it out and read it tonight!
